18th July 2008 - Sooty is really enjoying being a mum and the pups are doing brilliantly. They are becoming quite plump, looking more like guinea pigs than rats now. Most of them have gained half their birth weight again! This is a quiet contented litter and they are quite adept at finding the milk bar. More photos to come at the weekend :-)

11th July 2008 - Sooty has given birth to seven big, healthy puppies! Four males and three females.
4th July 2008 - Not many sleeps to go now! Sooty is still as playful and active as ever.
9th June 2008 - Sooty had her ultrasound today and she is definitely pregnant! We saw four puppies but there could be more tucked away in there.

May 2008 - Ronin Life In The Faust Lane (Sooty) has been bred to the highest awarded boxer in Australasia ever, NZ Gr Ch and Aust Gr Ch Valeska Lock Up Ya Daughters (Elvis) who is owned by Lloyd Harrison of Valeska Boxer Kennels in Auckland. Given the consistent quality in her first litter we are very excited about these puppies.
