Rapper is a dog that we had admired right from when he was a puppy, in 2009 we were lucky enough to import frozen semen from him to New Zealand. It was quite a mission getting it here due to problems with the import permit. Thankfully his owner and breeder Rita Tucker was so patient and helpful that we did it in the end! From his first litter in New Zealand we got our wonderful boy Ronin Plainly Wrapped (AI) Am SOM (Boston) and sister Aust Ch Ronin Wrapped Round Ya Finger (AI) (Rowan).

Using Rapper has brought some excellent new qualities to our breeding program that are also coming through from his progeny. I feel great sadness when I think that Rita is not here to enjoy all these wonderful moments with us. I hope that we do Rita proud with these lines and that the Abythorn name will be carried in pedigrees NZ and Australia for some time to come.
